First Screening of the Oscar winner Hungarian Film

On 11th April, 2016, Cinema Holding in Tbilisi organized first screening of the “Son of Saul” at the Amirani cinema. László Nemes Jeles’ this Holocaust drama won the Academy Award in 2016 for the Best Foreign Language Film in Los Angeles. Before the screening there was an exhibition on Holocaust in the lobby of the cinema. Hungarian Ambassador, H.E. greeted the audience and spoke about the film and its message to the mankind. Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassadors of Israel and Visegrad countries, as well as Georgian Jewish community representatives and cinema critics were present at the screening.
